Gift Guide for the Fitness Lover

To continue the early Christmas spirit, I am going to publish a gift guide every Friday.  It’s hard for me to ignore the fact it will be here soon because my secretary loves Christmas and is already on the countdown!  (If you would like to be on my email list for a reminder – sign up on the sidebar!!!)

Last week I brought you the gift guide for your favorite knitter.  (Yes, I had to sneak some knitting in this blog somewhere!)

Without further ado, here is the gift guide for the fitness lover!  Remember, this is just to help you get ideas – and definitely not a comprehensive list.  As always, I remind you to start out by thinking outside the box.  The unusual gifts are the ones that I love the most!  It’s not always about the money amount you spend, but how much thought you put into getting the gift!  Make it personal, funny, and insightful!

Gift Guide for the Fitness Lover

Before we jump straight into the straightforward fitness tools, how about jewelry that displays their love for working out?

I love this leather fitness bracelet with a dumbbell charm and a “me vs me” charm.  You can also change the charms to different sayings, or change the dumbbell out with barbell plates!

Just like with jewelry, the presents do not have to be an obvious piece of workout gear.  I really like gifts that think outside the box!

A silly t-shirt makes a great gift!!

You may not have thought about an online class!  An online class is a unique gift that is sure to be loved!  This course on Changing Body Composition Through Diet & Exercise would be a welcome gift for anyone who is trying to lose weight or change their body composition!!

Your fitness lover may like some Bluetooth headphones for working out!  I have a pair that I really like, and there is no getting tangled up in the cord!

Personally, I think you can never have too many blender bottles.  It’s a necessity for your workout drink and post-workout protein!!  We actually bought a blender bottle as part of our Secret Santa gift for our Crossfit gym’s Christmas party last year.

Foam rollers make a great gift as well.  It’s a great thing to have for sore muscles and a quicker recovery!

While you don’t have to get the obvious piece of gear, it is still something that will be loved by your fitness lover!  (I actually bought my husband a set of gymnastics rings last year!)

You can start with some home workout gear.  You can get a set of dumbbells for home use!

There are so many different areas of fitness.  You may want to try and buy a gift for the specific fitness they love.

Do you have a crossfitter in your life?  They are going to need Crossfit shoes!  They also need a speed rope!

Crossfitters or weightlifters may like some new wrist wraps or a weightlifting belt!

For the yoga enthusiast, Reebok has an entire yoga line!

Basically, don’t get too stressed out over Christmas gifts this year.  Your loved ones will appreciate anything you get them!  I hope this guide helps you brainstorm for gifts for your fitness lover!!!  Next Friday, I will be writing about the best educational gifts for your kids!
