How to Make an Aluminum Foil Sling
You only need one item for this. Heavy duty aluminum foil.
I use Reynolds Wrap. (Not sponsored, just the brand I prefer!) It’s very heavy duty and doesn’t tear easily.
Tear off a very long piece of foil. Somewhere around 20-24 inches of foil.
Lay it on a flat surface and fold it in half.
Then, fold it on itself again. Press it down very flat.
Voila! Your very own instant pot sling!
How to Use Your Foil Sling to Get Pans Out of Your Instant Pot
Once you have your sling made, just slide it underneath your pot that you are placing in your instant pot.
Lower the pot inside with the sling.
Then, simply roll or fold the aluminum foil to the sides so it’s out of the way.
Once your pressure cooker is done, unroll them again to gently lift out your finished food.
You can easily store your sling inside your pot to use the next time you use your electric pressure cooker! Or, you can simply throw it away. It’s up to you.
