I know you have heard me sing the praises of sweetened condensed milk in previous posts. I love it. It’s magic in a can.
Did you know you can make fudge with it?
In fact, you can make the easiest, fastest chocolate fudge with just two ingredients: chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk.
Two Ingredient Chocolate Fudge Recipe
- 3 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 ounces) of sweetened condensed milk
That’s it – that’s all the ingredients. Yep!
Now, prep a pan by lining it with foil that hangs over so you can pull it out like it’s in a sling when it’s done setting up. I use an 8×8 pan whenever I am making fudge or brownies. It tends to be the perfect size for this sort of baking operation.

I was overambitious with the amount of foil. You don’t have to go this nuts.
You can spray the foil lining lightly with cooking spray if you are afraid it will stick, but I find that is unnecessary.
Now, using a double boiler, you dump in your two ingredients and let them gently warm up. For my double boiler, I just use a mixing bowl over a stockpot of lightly simmering water.

This pot may not be pretty but it’s lasted around 18 years… and still my workhorse!
Once the chocolate chips begin to soften, you can start stirring this around until they are completely melted and the ingredients are smooth and incorporated.
This part goes very quickly, and once they are smooth and together, work fast to get it into your pan. You can overdo it.

Spread it into your lined pan quickly and place it in the refrigerator to set up for 2-3 hours.
Once it’s set up, you can pull out the aluminum foil lining and cut it into pieces for serving!
Yes, it’s really that easy!
