I hate microwaved food, so I don’t eat a lot of leftovers for this reason. It seems soggy and loses all the crispiness. Sometimes, it gets chewy and just doesn’t taste good!
The boys don’t mind to microwave things, so nothing really goes to waste, but I kept thinking there has to be a better way.
We eat a lot of Chick-Fil-A nuggets because it’s near one of my doctor’s offices that I go to about once a month. It’s my go-to and I typically bring home a 30 count tray of nuggets. I make our own sides, but we always seem to have chicken nuggets leftover.
I never ate them.
Until the day I decided to reheat them in my air fryer! They were crispy and delicious. I think they were even better than the original!
How to Reheat Chicken Nuggets in Your Air Fryer
Here’s how to do it:
Step 1: I placed a layer of nuggets in the air fryer basket. I did not stack them. If you can’t get them all in one layer, do it in batches. (It doesn’t take long, so don’t fret!)
Step 2: Place in the air fryer at 360 degrees for 2 minutes.
Step 3: Pull out the basket and shake it.
Step 4: Air fry them for an additional 2 minutes.
Yes, seriously 4 minutes to glorious reheated chicken nuggets that aren’t soggy or chewy.
