These must-have instant pot accessories make the perfect gift, whether it’s for a house-warming party or for Christmas! Your instant pot enthusiast will love any of these great pressure cooker accessories! You will love them too!

I LOVE my instant pot.  This pressure cooker has made my life so much easier.   It is one of the few kitchen gadgets that I feel has lived up to the hype.  (I should mention I love it so much I have two of them! I have a 6 quart and a 3 quart.)

The instant pot is so versatile. There are a million options for its use, and even more, if you get some must-have instant pot accessories.  These accessories also make great gifts to give along with an instant pot! You can find all the instant pot accessories you need on Amazon!

Must-Have Instant Pot Accessories

INSTANT POT LID

I find that it is helpful to have an Instant Pot lid for storage or for yogurt making!  The lid is glass, and so you can watch your yogurt without removing the lid!

It will also work great if you use the slow cooker option of your instant pot.  It’s also dishwasher safe.  Don’t forget to make sure you order the correct size – 3 quarts, 6 quarts, or 8 quarts.

I also really got lucky that it fits one of my Calphalon saucepans, so I often use it for that, too.

SILICONE LID COVER

The silicone lid cover is also a good storage cover!

EXTRA INNER POT

It’s always helpful to have an extra instant pot liner.  You can also get a liner that’s got a non-stick coating!  Again, always remember to get the correct size liner for the pot that you have!

SPARE SILICONE RINGS

The time will inevitably come when you need a new ring as yours will wear out.  It happens.  Keep spare rings on hand.

Also, get the actual Instant Pot rings, as it will matter when it comes to quality.

You may also want to keep one ring for desserts, and one ring for savory dishes.  Some people feel the rings can absorb certain smells and spices, so it’s nice to have one devoted to the certain food type you are making.

TURN YOUR INSTANT POT INTO AN AIR FRYER

Yes, you can turn your instant pot into an air fryer! No need to buy two different gadgets! You can purchase this Instant Pot Air Fryer Lid to do it. You can turn your Instant Pot into a 6-in-1 air fryer that air fries, roasts, bakes, broils, reheats, and dehydrates. That’s pretty amazing.

SILICONE EGG BITE MOLDS

The copycat Starbucks egg bites in the Instant Pot have gotten very popular.  You can order the egg bite molds to make them!

SILICONE CUPS FOR “POACHED EGGS”

This is personally my FAVORITE accessory.  We love poached eggs in this house, and I use these silicone cups all the time.  It makes life so easy!!

STEAMER BASKET

If you want to make vegetables, you’ll want a steam basket so they aren’t soggy!

CHEESECAKE PANS

Making cheesecake in your pot is a lot of fun.  It’s this mini-cheesecake that tastes delicious and people are amazed it’s done in a pressure cooker!  You will need a cheesecake pan, and the Fat Daddio pans are very popular. SILICONE SLING A silicone sling will help you get your cheesecake pan (or other pans) out of your instant pot.  It also works great for making lasagnas or mini-frittatas in your pot!

Don’t want to buy a sling? Make your own instant pot sling!

YOGURT STRAINER If you want to make yogurt, you’ll want a strainer.  This is the strainer I have!  You will strain the whey off the yogurt for Greek yogurt!

YOGURT CUPS

You’ll need good storage cups for the yogurt you make!  I love these Rubbermaid Take-a-longs.

POT IN POT STEEL INSERTS

Pot-in-pot (PIP) steel inserts are also helpful for making more than one thing at a time.

IMMERSION BLENDER

I find an immersion blender very helpful.  I’ve made homemade applesauce in my pot, as well as used the blender to blend up different sauces.

MINI MITTS

The mini mitts will help you hold on to your pot without getting burned.

STAINLESS STEEL RETRIEVER TONGS

These stainless steel retriever tongs help get the pot liner out as well.

These are some of my favorite accessories for the Instant Pot.  Do you have a favorite I didn’t list?  Let me hear about it so I can add it to my collection!  What are you making in your Instant Pot this week??

I’ve been seeing this pot on youtube for few weeks now. I’ve been ignoring them because I though it was just another rice cooker or slow cooker. I would have to look at it again and see exactly what it is.

When I saw this post on the Facebook blog board, I was really excited to read it! I just picked up an Instant Pot (literally last week) as a Christmas present for my sister in-law! I thought this would be a great read to see if there was anything else I could give her to go with it and make it that much better. Thank you so much for writing this!
